If a do-it-yourselfer buys this car, the one difficult challenge with maintenance is the removal of the 4 spark plugs. A very lightweight sports car with incredible handling, great fuel economy, and very inexpensive to maintain.
AUTOMILE DEDHAM MANUAL
I own the manual transmission and I've driven the automatic transmission. In summary, a very, very nice well made 4 door sedan. The infotainment system is not perfect but overall well designed - My one criticism is that the voice recognition feature is mediocre. Plenty of Eyesight safety features but without the annoying auto stop/start and ACTIVE lane keep assist (these 2 features were added after 2018). Seats are comfortable with plenty of legroom front and rear. The ride is smooth and luxuriously comfortable. 4 years later the cabin remains quiet with no squeaks or rattles. Fit and finish are excellent on my Legacy both interior and exterior. Approximately 25 mpg around town and 37 Hwy. Surprising for a non turbo, non hybrid 4 cylinder gasoline engine. On the highway it accelerates and cruises effortlessly. Generally, I don’t care for CVT transmissions but this CVT mated to the 2.5 liter engine is surprisingly quick in city driving.

The ‘18 Legacy is the best car I have ever owned. I’ve owned many vehicles during my life, both domestic and foreign made. I’m 75 years old and have been driving since I was 15. I purchased my 2018 Legacy Limited with 2.5 L engine (50th anniversary edition) with heritage blue exterior and black leather interior in May 2018. Jose, Dave, and Miguel thank you for the wonderful experience! All of Group 1's staff were not the stereotypical "car salesman”. Negotiation process fair and not painful.ģ. Excellent customer service by Jose Silva (General Manager), Dave Troilo (Sales), and Miguel Banos (Finance Director).Ģ. Our whole experience was excellent, there were a few reasons why Group 1 was the front runner.ġ. Happy to say we took delivery of our 2022 Acura RDX on. However, Miguel was able to come up with an option that was reasonable and more importantly made sense for us to purchase when it came to maintenance and interior/exterior protection. We have never purchased Acura Care plans. Although our bank’s interest rate was less, and after running the numbers the difference was nominal so we opted to go through Acura’s finance department. Then came financing and we sat with Miguel Banos the Finance Manager to see if we would finance with Acura or our own bank. He processed all the paperwork with efficiency and in a timely manner. Dave was super knowledgeable, responsive, and answered all of our questions. Jose passed the baton to Dave Troilo (Sales) for us to select an in-stock vehicle or place a deposit on one that will be available in the next month or two. We were able to come to an agreement of a fair price for our trade-in that all parties were happy with. My husband and I were thinking of selling our RDX to CarMax and he mentioned if we trade in our vehicle with Acura we would save money on sales tax. Additionally, Jose gave us some great advice. Jose was upfront and honest that they cannot sell a vehicle below sticker price, which we did appreciate as other Acura dealerships were asking over MSRP. With a shortage of vehicles, dealerships will not negotiate below MSRP. Although Jose is the General Manager he was extremely patient providing what was on the lot and what they were expecting in the next month or two. Our experience with Jose Silva (General Manager) and Dave Troilo (Sales) was top notch with no hidden agendas and complete transparency. We literally dealt with 10 Acura dealerships throughout MA/RI/NH and Group 1 led the pack. To say Group 1 aka IRA Acura of Westwood was a pleasure to work with is an understatement. Buying and trading in a vehicle may not be the most pleasant experience.
